From March 31st to April 2nd, Parken Challenger Championship returned to Copenhagen for its third edition—bringing together 12 ambitious teams in one of the most competitive and consequential Tier 2 LAN events of the year.
With VRS points, Major qualification dreams, and momentum on the line, Season 3 delivered everything: upsets, breakout performances, heartbreak—and ultimately, a statement victory that reshaped the road to Cologne.
Season 3 arrived at a critical moment in the competitive calendar. With the race for the IEM Cologne Major intensifying, every match carried weight far beyond the prize pool.
The field featured clear favorites in 3DMAX, B8, and BESTIA, but the presence of hungry challengers—including AM, Falcons Force, and three Danish representatives (AaB, WAZABI, Sashi Academy)—set the stage for a volatile and unpredictable tournament.
The format remained ruthless:
From the very first round, it was clear: no one was safe.
While many expected the favorites to cruise, the group stage quickly flipped expectations.
The biggest early shock came when WAZABI stunned B8, handing the eventual champions a critical loss that immediately put their Major hopes under pressure.
At the same time:
By the end of groups, the standings told a story of balance at the top:
The favorites were still alive—but cracks had formed.
The playoff bracket brought immediate high-stakes matchups:
For the home crowd, AaB’s run was one of the defining emotional storylines.
After a strong group stage, they:
Falcons Force, led in part by rising talent clockzi, became one of the breakout stories of the event.
Meanwhile:
One of the most defining matches of the tournament—and arguably the entire Major race—came in the consolidation final between B8 and 3DMAX.
In a do-or-die series:
This loss effectively ended 3DMAX’s Major qualification hopes, marking one of the biggest collapses of the event.
The final brought together two teams that had navigated very different paths:
The series delivered a dramatic three-map battle:
B8 completed the comeback to win 2–1, lifting the trophy in Copenhagen.
B8’s victory was more than just a tournament win—it was a defining moment in their season.
Their journey included:
The win propelled them up the rankings and placed them firmly in contention for Major qualification, showcasing their ability to perform when everything is on the line.
Season 3 was not just another event—it was a turning point.
And most importantly, it reinforced what Parken Challenger Championship has quickly become:
A proving ground where pressure creates champions.
